i believe this was me and Mani singing Britney Spears??? Maybe...I'm not proud of it, it just happened! The fun of Filipino karaoke is intoxicating and you can't resist it!
You thought you had it bad being a smoker in the US? Although a lot of people smoke in Davao, they have only tiny allotted areas for smoking. People could not even smoke outside the hotel unless they went to this little area. The pool deck had a similar space for smoking, without the cage part. There's a sign you can't see that says "Smoking Kills." I guess they figure putting you in a cage isn't bad enough =)
This is cardava. The guy in the white and black shirt is a trader in Pantukan; he buys cardava from the farmers and sells it to exporters or frying plants.
